I visited TarraWarra museum during Louise Hearman exhibition which was absolutely stunning. Many of her pieces brought reality and imagination together to create surreal works which I thoroughly enjoyed.

Yarra Valley Chocolaterie & Ice Creamery
  • Yarra Valley Chocolaterie & Ice Creamery – 35 Old Healesville Rd, Yarra Glen VIC 3775.

Although a little bit of a drive to find, the Yarra Valley Chocolaterie was worth it. A great collection of chocolate to choose from (a bit on the pricer side), as well as plenty of samples to try. I had the honeycomb ice cream which I 100% would recommend. The Yarra Valley Chocolaterie & Ice Creamery also had a cafe menu to choose from, and the view outside is absolutely stunning.

Maroondah Reservoir Park
  • Maroondah Reservoir Park – Maroondah Hwy, Healesville VIC 3777. Open daily from 8am, closing time varies depending on weather, season and month.

DSC08605Possibly my favourite stop in Healesville, so many beautiful views and walking paths. The spillway waterfall looks awesome after some rainy days and the beautiful rose walk up to the dam wall. It’s a great walk over the dam wall, being able to see all the native and exotic plants and the mountains in the distance. If you feel like walking some more, there is a lookout past the dam track which is where I took the picture above.
